Job summary

Compass Group USA's Levy division is seeking a part‑time cashier to join a fast-paced hospitality team in the Washington, DC area. The role involves handling sales, processing transactions, and upholding sanitation and service standards in the dining room and cafe.

You will greet customers, enter purchases, issue receipts, and ensure accurate cash handling while delivering friendly, efficient service. Prior cash register experience is preferred; training on our systems is provided, with benefits

Responsibilities

• Performs sales transactions in a timely fashion.
• Enters all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
• Makes change, accepts payments, issues receipts.
• Interacts with customers and resolves complaints in a friendly manner.
• Responsible for change funds and cash receipts; ensure drawer accuracy.
• Maintains cleanliness of service areas and restocks supplies.
