Job summary

TravelCenters of America is hiring a Cashier II to join our store team. The role primarily focuses on delivering excellent customer service while processing transactions on a POS system and maintaining a clean beverage and food area.

You will help stock and merchandise and support training for junior cashiers. We offer benefits including medical/dental/vision, a 401(k) with company match, vacation and holidays, and discounts on tech, travel, food, and fuel.

Qualifications

2+ years of cashier experience preferred.
Computer/POS knowledge required.
Merchandising/stocking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on great customer service.
Serve each customer courteously, quickly and efficiently with a positive attitude.
Process transactions on a POS register; maintain a clean, well-stocked area.
Assist with receiving product and stock/organize merchandise on planograms.
Assist with training lower-level cashiers on duties and responsibilities.
Prioritize work according to store and management needs.
Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe situations.
Establish strong communication with leaders and coworkers.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
