This range is provided by City of University City, Missouri. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range: $15.50/hr - $19.78/hr

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Manage all transactions involving admission to Heman Park Swimming Pool.
  2. Ensure patrons follow pool rules upon entry.
  3. Greet the public, answer questions, and communicate professionally with patrons and staff.
  4. Operate recreation software and office equipment effectively.
  5. Follow cash handling procedures; balance transactions and prepare deposits.
  6. Assist with emergency action plans.
  7. Maintain clean and organized work areas.
  8. Report positive and negative observations regarding facilities, programs, staff, or the public to the supervisor.
  9. Attend staff meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Basic mathematical skills and cashiering accuracy.
  • Ability to understand instructions and work independently.
  • Respond quickly in emergencies and handle stressful situations.
  • Maintain a positive image and communicate effectively.
  • Work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays (minimum 15-20 hours/week).
  • Handle temperature extremes and physical activities such as lifting up to 40 lbs.
Minimum Training and Experience
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Flexible availability for various shifts.
  • Basic cash handling and computer skills.
