Job summary

You will handle scanning, weighing, and bagging, while maintaining accuracy and a courteous attitude in a busy retail environment. Prior experience is helpful, and evening/weekend shifts are common.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• TABC/LACT certification required where applicable.
• On-the-job training is typical.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct checkout totals by weighing, keying, and scanning items.
• Maintain accurate money count in register at all times.
• Greet customers, answer questions, locate and promote products, respond to complaints.
• Bag groceries properly, group like items, and maintain clean, safe working area.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures and laws regarding sales of restricted items.
