Quick Check Convenience Store is hiring a cashier to join our team. You will operate the cash register, assist guests with friendly service, and help keep the store clean, stocked, and well-presented throughout shifts.

We value teamwork and reliability, with responsibilities including handling transactions, following state regulations, and supporting store operations during nights, weekends, and holidays. Exceptional customer service is a must.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background investigation.
• Must complete TABC Certification and Food Handlers Certificates.
• Flexible shift availability including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must perform basic arithmetic to make change and complete shift reports.
• Follow all state and federal regulations for gas, alcohol, and tobacco sales.
• Promotes great teamwork and readily assists with team needs throughout the shift.
• Position requires standing up to 8 hours and lifting up to 35–50 pounds.
• Requires pushing, pulling, stretching and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and provide efficient, courteous service to guests.
• Keep the store clean, stocked, and well-presented, including coolers, shelves, and displays.
• Receive vendor deliveries as required and assist with general stocking.
• Maintain clean restrooms and collect trash as needed.

Cashier - Full and Part-Time

Quick Check is always looking to add to our team! As a store cashier, you will be responsible for serving each guest courteously, quickly, and efficiently with a sincere and enthusiastic attitude. You will operate the cash register, maintain the cleanliness of the store, and provide excellent customer service.

General Duties

• Treat every customer with respect.
• Adhere to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Keep refrigerated coolers, shelves and displays fully stocked, clean and fronted at all times.
• Receive vendor deliveries, as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store - sweep, mop, and maintain immaculate restroom facilities.
• Empty indoor and outdoor trash bins, as needed.
• Perform other tasks at the direction of the store manager.
