Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a Store Team Member to deliver an excellent customer and brand experience, promote sales, and operate registers at GCNA and affiliated entities.

Responsibilities include handling POS transactions, encouraging cash donations, pricing items, stocking shelves, and keeping the store clean and safe while upholding Goodwill Core Values: Trust, Collaboration, Engagement, Ownership, and Innovation.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent math skills preferred.
• Ability to communicate and understand instructions, both verbal and written, in English.

Starting Pay: $15.15 hourly.

Position: Store Team Member – This role leads an excellent customer and brand experience, promotes sales, and runs registers at Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) and affiliated entities.

• Perform Point of Sale (POS) responsibilities and process all forms of payments.
• Ask each customer for cash donations at POS.
• Establish or identify prices of goods using merchandise markings or ask on‑site leader for assistance.
• Complete closing procedures as necessary.
• Maintain regular and consistent in‑person attendance.
• Greet customers entering the store and thank them as they leave.
• Maintain sales floor by following floorwork and PPM (picture process map) standards.
• Stock merchandise in assigned areas.
• Use phone and paging systems to make scheduled announcements.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Model Goodwill Core Values – Trust, Collaboration, Engagement, Ownership, and Innovation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent math skills preferred.
• Ability to communicate and understand instructions, both verbal and written, in English.
• Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen where applicable.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
