Zaman Mediterranean Fresh is a locally owned, fast-casual restaurant near Washington Park in Denver, known for fresh, made-from-scratch food and warm hospitality. We’re hiring an experienced Cashier / Front Counter Team Member to join our team and deliver excellent service.

We’re seeking someone who enjoys people, stays organized during busy periods, and can contribute to a reliable, long-term team. Toast POS experience is a plus, but not required. Competitive pay and tips are available.

• At least 1 year experience in restaurant/FOH roles.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide excellent service.
• Take dine-in, takeout, delivery, and online orders.
• Explain the menu and help guests choose what to order.
• Operate Toast POS and handle cash/card transactions.
• Double-check orders for accuracy before delivery/hand-off.
• Package takeout and delivery orders carefully.
• Answer phones and assist with questions.
• Keep front counter and dining area clean and organized.
• Help the team during busy periods.
• Complete opening or closing duties per shift.

Zaman Mediterranean Fresh is looking for an experienced, dependable, and genuinely friendly Cashier / Front Counter Team Member to join our team.

We are a locally owned, fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant near Washington Park, known for fresh, made-from-scratch food and warm hospitality. Zaman has earned a 4.8-star Google rating with more than 900 reviews.

We are looking for someone who enjoys people, works with urgency, pays attention to details, and wants to become a reliable, long-term part of the team.

What You'll Do

• Greet guests warmly and provide excellent service
• Take accurate dine-in, takeout, delivery, and online orders
• Confidently explain the menu and help guests choose what to order
• Operate Toast POS and handle cash and credit card transactions
• Double-check orders for accuracy before they leave the restaurant
• Package takeout and delivery orders carefully
• Answer phones and assist with customer and catering questions
• Keep the front counter, beverage area, and dining room clean, stocked, and organized
• Help the rest of the team during busy periods
• Complete opening or closing responsibilities depending on your shift

Who We're Looking For

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Minimum 1 year of restaurant, fast-casual, cashier, or front-of-house experience required
• Friendly, confident, and comfortable talking with customers
• Dependable and punctual
• Able to work quickly while maintaining accuracy
• Calm and organized during busy periods
• Strong attention to detail
• Takes initiative and notices what needs to be done
• Comfortable learning the menu and making recommendations
• Interested in a consistent position and long-term fit

Toast POS experience is a plus, but not required.

Schedule

Full-time and part-time positions are available, approximately 20–40 hours per week.

We are looking for candidates who can commit to a consistent schedule and have some availability for days, evenings, and weekends.
