We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions.

Location: Bayer Whippany - 100 Bayer Boulevard, Whippany, NJ 07981. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules; Tuesday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Prior hospitality experience is preferred.

Internal Employee Referral Bonus: Available

Pay Range: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Operate Point of Sale system, assist the Chef, prepare coffee, and maintain cleanliness at coffee and cashier stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Help prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts; assist with catering orders.
2. Perform cashier duties using the POS system.
3. Perform general cleaning; remove trash and garbage.
4. Provide service in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
5. Handle cashiering accurately, maintain cash accuracy, and make deposits at shift end.
6. Inventory and restock supplies and food products.
7. Set up serving line, monitor food temperatures, and notify cooks if temperatures are not within acceptable ranges.
8. Serve hot and cold items to customers.
9. Prepare items for purchase daily.
10. Keep refrigerator stocked and rotate products using FIFO.
11. Stock pantries with correct par levels and record replenishments and refrigerator temperatures daily.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
