Job summary

Velvet Taco, Inc. is seeking friendly Counter Servers to greet guests, take orders, and manage dine-in, takeout, and call‑in corders with speed and accuracy.

You will ring up transactions at the POS, check IDs for alcohol, and keep the service area clean while delivering the Velvet Taco vibe. Applicants should be 18+, able to lift 25 pounds, and hold a Food Handler certification; alcohol service certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Able to handle cash and card transactions accurately.
• Excellent teamwork and communication required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly attitude.
• Take orders using Velvet Taco steps of service.
• Ring up dine-in, to-go, and call-in orders in the POS.
• Handle cash, credit card, and gift card transactions.
• Verify identification for alcohol service per state law.
• Maintain clean, sanitized service area and fast-paced pace.
• Know menu items and respond to guest questions.
