Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a cashier in Timonium, MD to provide fast, friendly checkout and help customers get great value. You’ll handle payments, assist in self-checkout, and ensure accuracy at the register while supporting other store tasks as needed.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to grow through Lowe’s benefits, education support, and associate discounts. Previous retail experience is helpful, and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area.
