Lowe's is looking for a customer-focused cashier to ensure a fast and friendly checkout experience for shoppers. You will help customers at the register, assist with self-checkout, and handle payments and exchanges with accuracy and care.

In this part-time role, you may also support other departments, stock shelves, and assist with store operations. Strong communication and basic math skills are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic required.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation.
• Obtain sales‑related licensure or registration if required by law in your state.
• Retail and/or customer service experience.
• Bilingual skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area.
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently.
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges.
• Answer customer questions.
