Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is seeking a cashier to provide a fast, friendly checkout experience at our Michigan stores. You’ll help customers complete purchases, answer questions, and ensure items are scanned and bagged correctly at the register.

In this role you may assist in other store tasks, from helping with exchanges to stocking shelves, while upholding safety and customer service standards that reflect Lowe’s brand and community-focused values.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a busy store.
• Experience using a computer, including point-of-sale systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience
• Assist customers at the self-checkout area
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges
• Answer customer questions
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation
• Complete other duties as assigned
