• Operate POS system and handle tenders (cash, checks, card, SNAP EBT, coupons) per policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention procedures.
• Follow rules for restricted items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs) and ensure compliance.
• Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator.
• Follow policies for stamps, gift cards and coupons.
• Stay updated with current ads and promotions.
• Comply with all food safety regulations and safety procedures.
• Identify unsafe conditions and report to management; participate in maintenance checks.
• Help customers with product questions and foster an welcoming environment.
