Lowe’s cashier position supports a quick, friendly checkout experience, helping customers get the best value for their money. You’ll engage with customers, answer questions, and assist with payments and exchanges to ensure satisfaction.

Most time is at the register, with occasional help to other departments, stocking, or moving carts. Strong customer service and math skills are required for success in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state.

Responsibilities

• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area.
