Job summary

7th Street Burger is hiring both part-time and full-time cashiers in New York. You will be the first and last friendly touch for customers, keep the line moving, and help maintain a high-energy, clean workspace as orders come in.

The role involves handling orders, processing payments, and coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure accuracy and speed. Prior experience in a bustling setting is preferred, with benefits including weekly pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced restaurant or retail environment is preferred.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Food handler certification is a plus (we will help you get certified).
• Flexible availability for late nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer and create a welcoming, high-energy experience.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system.
• Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently.
• Count and close out the register at open and close.
• Keep the counter, lobby, and garbage areas clean throughout your shift.
• Communicate with the cooks to ensure order accuracy and speed.
• Support your teammates and jump in wherever the shift needs you.

At 7th Street Burger, our Part-Time and Full-Time Cashiers are the face of the shop. You're the first hello and the last thank you, keeping the line moving and the energy up while orders fly. What You'll Do
