Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of cashiering experience.
• Outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude and customer focus.
• Ability to operate front end equipment; register, calculator, scanner.
• Reliable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to take direction.
• Capable of multi-tasking, prioritizing, and staying organized.
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs and move carts as needed.
• Proficient with numbers and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Process each customer’s order quickly, accurately, and with complete satisfaction.
• Handle cash, credit/debit payments, and change, and assist customers with information.
• Follow front end procedures, stock shelves, face and dust as needed.
• Maintain checkout areas in a clean, orderly condition; communicate with front end manager.
