Job summary

Goodwill Manasota is seeking a friendly cashier for the Bargain Barn in Florida. You will greet customers, operate the POS, process sales accurately, and help bag/wrap merchandise while keeping the sales floor tidy.

Role emphasizes world-class customer service, adherence to safety and company policies, and teamwork with the store staff to rotate merchandise and support promotions. You will also assist with stock rotation and participate in training opportunities.

Qualifications

• 6 months of cashiering experience.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Prior experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers via phone and in person in a prompt, friendly manner.
• Operate the POS to ensure accurate sales data and pricing.
• Bag/wrap merchandise and keep the front area clean and organized.
• Assist in stocking and rotating merchandise on the sales floor.
• Support promotions and display items as needed.
