Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a part-time cashier to deliver a fast, friendly checkout experience and assist customers with payments, exchanges, and questions. You’ll help at the register, possibly assist other departments, and keep a clean, safe workspace in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role emphasizes customer service, accuracy in scanning and bagging, and contributing to a positive store visit for every customer. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area.
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently.
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges.
• Answer customer questions.
• Help maintain a clean, safe workstation.
• Complete other duties as assigned
