Responsibilities

• Ensure correct checkout totals by weighing, keying, and scanning items.
• Maintain accurate money count in register.
• Access product codes and stay familiar with ads and specials.
• Follow tender policies and procedures for checks, credit, debit, coupons, EBT, WIC, AML, etc.
• Greet customers and provide friendly, service-focused assistance.
• Promote enrollment in the Thank You Card program and assist with sign up.
• Bag groceries properly by grouping items and avoiding cross-contamination.
• Adhere to safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe store environment.
• Comply with all company policies and laws regarding sales of restricted items such as tobacco and alcohol.
