T&R Market, Inc. is seeking a friendly and efficient convenience store cashier to provide fast, accurate service at the sales counter in Gallup, NM. You will scan items, verify prices, handle payments, and assist customers with merchandise questions in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes cash handling, basic math, and excellent customer service with a collaborative team. Weekend shifts, overtime, and a strong shift ethic are expected as part of daily operations.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of retail Cashier experience preferred.
• NM Food Handlers Permit (will certify)

Responsibilities

• Operate all checking equipment, count money and make change accurately

Physical requirements

• Grasping, bending, twisting, squatting,


• Move, lift (minimum height of 4' on a regular basis), and carry a minimum of 50lbs


• Walk, stand, climb ladders, be on feet the entire shift


• Push/pull a heavily loaded pallet with a manual pallet jack


• Push/pull a loaded stock cart

Education and Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent preferred

N.M. Food Handlers Permit (will certify)
