Job summary

Dandy Mini Marts in Sayre, PA is seeking a part-time Store Maintenance team member to keep our store clean, well-stocked, and inviting for customers. You will greet customers, stock shelves, maintain restroom and exterior areas, and follow SOPs to ensure safety and quality of service.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, and flexibility to work holidays or weekends.

Qualifications

• Prior retail experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work holidays, weekends, or non-standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
• Maintain a respectful and supportive work environment with peers.
• Adhere to all store operational policies and procedures.
• Follow safety protocols and general housekeeping procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all customers and employees.
• Stock and maintain products on shelves and in coolers following FIFO and other established procedures.
• Ensure cleanliness and appearance in all areas of the store, including restrooms, self-serve areas, shelves, floors, windows, and customer-facing areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of the exterior of the store, including cleaning pumps, filling wiper fluid buckets, sweeping/shoveling sidewalks, and monitoring wastebaskets.
• Perform property inspections, monitoring for ice, potholes, and debris on the premises.

Job Summary

• Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

• Strong teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience a plus, but not necessary.
• Availability to work holidays, weekends, overtime, or non-standard hours.
• Ability to maintain a neat and clean appearance according to Dandy’s dress code policy.
• Ability to represent yourself and TEAM Dandy positively and respectfully.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
