Job summary

LV Petroleum in Salina, KS is seeking a Cashier/Team Member to join our travel center team. You will handle customer transactions quickly and accurately at the POS, greet customers, and answer questions while keeping the area clean and welcoming.

Previous cashier or customer service experience is welcome but not required. We value dependability, teamwork, and a positive attitude. Shifts include weekends and holidays with weekly pay and benefits such as health care, retirement plans, and PTO.

Job Overview:

As Cashier/Team Member at LV Petroleum, you will be responsible for efficiently processing customer transactions while providing outstanding customer service. Your friendly demeanor and ability to engage with customers will make a difference in their overall experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, assist with their purchases, and answer questions regarding products and promotions.
• Transaction Handling: Accurately process cash, debit, and credit transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the cashier and surrounding areas clean and organized.
• Support Team: Collaborate with team members to ensure effective service delivery and a smooth checkout experience.
• Inventory Awareness: Assist in monitoring inventory levels and restocking as needed.

Experience: Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is preferred, but not required.

Skills: Basic math skills for transaction processing and cash handling.

Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
