Katz Ace Hardware in Glastonbury, CT is hiring a full-time cashier who will be the friendly face of the store. No hardware knowledge needed; we’ll teach you what you need. You’ll ring up sales, handle returns, greet customers, and assist with phones while staying on your feet most of the shift.

Now Hiring: Full-Time Cashier — Katz Ace Hardware

We're looking for a friendly, dependable person to be the face of our store. As our cashier, you're the first hello and the last impression — the person our regulars know by name.

No hardware knowledge needed. If you're warm with people, good with details, and reliable, we'll teach you everything else.

We're independently owned and operated — not some faceless chain. Our whole thing is helping neighbors with their projects, and the checkout counter is where that experience gets wrapped up right.

What the job actually looks like:

• You're running the register — ringing up sales, handling returns, keeping your counter organized
• You're greeting everyone who walks in and thanking everyone who walks out
• You'll help answer the phone and point customers in the right direction
• It's full-time with steady hours, and you'll be on your feet most of your shift
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs (bags of ice melt don't bag themselves)
