Job summary

CC Holdings, Inc. operates an Au Bon Pain Café at Methodist Hospital, seeking friendly, motivated cashiers for full-time or part-time roles. Shifts run seven days a week from 5 AM to 11 PM, with a starting rate up to $16.00 per hour. Must be vaccinated or have an exemption. Weekly pay, training, and benefits are offered.

Responsibilities include handling cash, delivering great service, and maintaining safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced setting.

CC Holdings is currently seeking friendly, motivated, and detail-oriented individuals to join our highly skilled growing team!

Full-time & Part-time cashier positions are now being filled at our Au Bon Pain Café located in Methodist Hospital. Shift available seven days 5 AM- 11 PM (shifts vary) must have flexibility.

Cashiers balance the cash drawer, make changes and enter purchases. Customer service skills are required. Starting rate up to $16.00 an hour! If you are looking for a fun, fast-paced environment this is the opportunity for you!!

Requirements

• Arrives in proper uniform and adheres to all grooming standards.
• Sets up station according to cafe guidelines.
• Prepares all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Follows portion control and presentation specifications as set by the café.
• Restocks all items as needed throughout shift.
• Cleans and maintains station in practicing good safety, sanitation, and organizational skills.
• Has understanding and knowledge to properly use and maintain all equipment in station.
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerance.
• Ensure quality and safety of food by performing standard and any additional sanitary measures including sweeping of the floors, cleaning of surfaces, as well as proper covering and storage of food items according to standards and procedures.
• Work at efficient and consistent pace.
• Knowledge of methods and procedures for serving food, principles of sanitation, and principles of safe food handling required.
• Effective communication skills.
• Follows all cash handling procedures as outlined.
• Assists in financial accountability by correctly recording orders, receiving/giving change, and counting the drawer.
• Thanks the customers and invite them to return.
• Acts as a role model with customers and staff, and helps provide on-the-job training for new barista/cashier.
• Works with others in a team to support operations, standards and concept essence.
• Demonstrates excellent communication and "listening" skills.
