Purpose

As a Cashier (Customer Service Associate), you are the first and final interaction point for Floor & Decor’s customers. Our Cashiers are responsible for providing excellent customer service through greeting customers, checking out customers, handling product returns, performing basic cash office functions, and providing an exceptional experience.

Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available

This role is available for both full‑time and part‑time candidates.

Pay Range

$17.00 - $20.10

Essential Job Functions

• Greet every customer in a helpful and courteous manner.
• Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend products, and excite them about their purchase.
• Provide above‑and‑beyond customer service and exceed expectations.
• Demonstrate compliance with the company’s safety processes.
• Act and work in a manner consistent with the company’s core values.
• Process customers at checkout using the POS system.
• Process refunds and exchanges according to guidelines.
• Open and close registers.
• Follow cash, check, and credit card acceptance procedures.
• Answer the telephone according to company guidelines.
• Stock, tag, and display merchandise as required.
• Create price tags and merchandise signs.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Potential travel to other stores for support.

Working Conditions (Travel & Environment)

While performing duties, you may be occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level is typically quiet to moderate.

Physical/Sensory Requirements

Medium work: ability to exert 20‑50 pounds occasionally, 10‑25 pounds frequently, or up to 10 pounds constantly. Must stand, walk, reach, climb, or balance as required.

Saturday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
