Key Responsibilities:

• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the check lane.
• Understand and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling various tenders and loyalty programs according to company policy.
• Adhere to company policies on cash shortages/overages and restricted sale items (e.g., Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and follow policies on postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
• Stay updated on current and upcoming promotions and adhere to food safety regulations.
• Follow safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and report issues to management.
• Maintain equipment and notify management of repairs needed.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers by assisting with questions about products.
• Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and company guidelines.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment, managing conflicts professionally and acting with integrity.
• Support and assist vulnerable customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
