Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Cashier to deliver efficient, friendly service at the checkout, creating positive and lasting impressions for each customer.You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, learn Meijer programs, and use systems to complete transactions accurately while handling cash with care.

Starting pay ranges between $15.00 and $16.50 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within a family‑oriented company that values development and community impact.

Qualifications

• You’re 18 years of age or older.
• You enjoy working with people and providing great service.
• You’re comfortable learning and using technology.
• You listen well, communicate clearly, and stay organized.

• Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
• You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

We are committed to offering competitive pay that reflects market standards and ensures consistency within our organization. This job has a step pay plan that generally starts between the rates below with raises occurring after predetermined hours worked. The actual rate offered will meet or surpass the legal wage requirement for the job's location. $15.00 - $16.50
