Job summary

Workstream is seeking a friendly cashier to join our Utah team. You will manage transactions, operate the cash register and scanner, handle payments, and provide receipts while ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have POS experience, basic computer skills, strong math abilities, and excellent communication. Prior cashier roles and multitasking ability are a plus at this busy retail location.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with purchases.

• Issue coupons, vouchers, or gift cards as needed.
• Process returns/refunds and resolve complaints.
• Upsell and cross-sell when appropriate.
• Maintain accuracy of pricing and daily cash reconciliation.

Cashier Job Description: We are looking for a qualified and responsible cashier to manage all transactions with our customers efficiently and accurately. A good job candidate is a person who knows their way around a cash register and can easily operate it, together with a product scanner. Their main responsibilities include accepting payments and providing receipts, making sure all transactions run smoothly and every customer is satisfied with the service. The cashier we would like to employ must be able to interact with our customers in a friendly manner, and provide assistance should any customer require it.
