Position: Cashier

You will craft quality customer experiences by providing efficient, effective customer service in the checkout lane that creates a positive and lasting impact on Meijer customers.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have open availability to work shifts between 6 AM to midnight, including weekends.
• Ability to operate cashier register system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize technology to complete activities and tasks.
• Create 'WOW' moments that positively impact customers.
• Complete transactions accurately, handle money responsibly.
• Use friendly body language and eye contact.
• Handle customer questions adequately and appropriately.
• Build trustful relationships with customers to encourage return visits.

Qualifications:

• Willingness to learn or familiarity with job-specific technology.

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.

Compensation and Benefits:

Starting pay ranges from $15.25 to $16.63 per hour, with raises after certain hours worked.
