As a Cashier, you'll be responsible for accurately processing transactions using a cash register, scanning barcodes, and handling various payment methods such as cash, credit cards, and mobile payments. You'll also manage the cash drawer by counting and reconciling cash at the beginning and end of your shift, ensuring accuracy and security. Providing excellent customer service is a key part of the role, which involves greeting customers, assisting with product inquiries, and resolving any issues they may have. You'll work in a fast-paced retail environment, often multitasking to handle multiple customers simultaneously. The role requires strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
