Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Cashier to provide friendly, efficient service at the checkout. You will become knowledgeable about Meijer programs and promotions to best assist customers, and you will create welcoming, memorable checkout experiences while using our systems to complete transactions accurately.

This role requires clear communication, dependability, and a willingness to learn. Prior retail or customer service is helpful but not required, and you’ll join a family company that supports growth

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Enjoy working with people and providing great service.
• Comfortable learning and using technology.
• Listen well, communicate clearly, and stay organized.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to help.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.
