Meijer Inc. is seeking a(Customer service oriented) Cashier to deliver efficient checkout experiences in our store. You’ll be the last touchpoint before customers leave, handling transactions, answering questions, and ensuring a friendly, accurate checkout process.

This role supports weekly pay and a benefits package including 401(k) with company contributions, parental leave, education assistance, and growth programs. Previous retail experience is helpful but not required.

What You’ll Do:

As a Cashier, you are the last touchpoint a customer has before leaving our store. You'll:

What You Bring:

• You’re 18 years of age or older
• You enjoy working with people and providing great service
• You’re comfortable learning and using technology
• You listen well, communicate clearly, and stay organized
• You’re dependable, detail‑oriented, and eager to help
• Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required
• You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods

We are committed to offering competitive pay that reflects market standards and ensures consistency within our organization. This job has a step pay plan that generally starts between the rates below with raises occurring after predetermined hours worked. The actual rate offered will meet or surpass the legal wage requirement for the job's location. $15.00 - $16.50
