Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets is seeking a part-time Cashier at our Mount Laurel, NJ location to deliver exceptional service and keep checkout running smoothly.

As a Cashier, you’ll engage customers, scan items, handle monetary transactions, and bag orders with care to ensure a positive shopping experience. Afternoon/evening shifts (including weekends) are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Availability in afternoons/evenings, including weekends.
• Part-time role.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers in friendly conversation while making eye contact and smiling.
• Accurately and efficiently scan customers’ grocery items and complete monetary transactions.
• Properly bag items to ensure products arrive at their destination in the condition they left the store.
• Proactively offer additional assistance or services and thank the customer for shopping at Wegmans.
