Overview

The primary focus of this position is to provide exceptional guest service by operating a cash register and assisting guests with a “Say Yes to the Guest” attitude. This individual scans, rings and/or enters customer merchandise, collects payment, delivers appropriate change, bags items, and assists customers with questions or concerns.

Responsibilities

• Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently. Collect money, checks, electronic payments, and coupons from the guest, provide correct change, and ensure the security of the cash drawer at all times.
• Scan or ring items accurately and efficiently. Identify and key in department numbers, produce items, UPC numbers, look up numbers, weights, and other items that are unable to scan.
• Assist guests with locating merchandise, answering questions and concerns, and bagging merchandise in a careful manner as necessary.

Pay Range

USD $15.00 - USD $17.00 /Hr.
