Job summary

Big Deal Outlet in Midvale, UT is seeking a part-time Cashier to handle payments, issue receipts and maintain accurate cash and credit records. Prior customer service and cash-register familiarity are preferred.

You will greet customers, determine needs, answer questions, count money, operate the cash register, and use a computer to complete transactions. Flexible afternoon shifts; Sundays off.

Salary Range: $13.00 - $14.00 Hourly

Job Shift: Afternoon

This position requires working a flexible schedule, with potential to work varying afternoon shifts throughout the week. 10-18 Hours per week. Your schedule could fall anywhere between 12pm - 9:30pm, Monday - Saturday. We do not work Sundays!

Job Description

The Cashier is responsible for receiving payments and issuing receipts, as well as keeping track of all cash and credit transactions. To be successful in this role, previous experience in a customer service position and good knowledge of how cash registers operate is preferred.
