Job Responsibilities:

1. Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately at the check lane.
2. Handle various tenders including cash, checks, credit/debit cards, SNAP EBT, WIC, rain checks, coupons, and loyalty offers, adhering to company policies.
3. Maintain awareness of and adhere to company policies on cash handling, restricted sale items, and pricing discrepancies.
4. Follow established procedures for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
5. Stay informed about current, upcoming, seasonal, and special promotions.
6. Comply with all food safety regulations and safety procedures.
7. Identify and report unsafe conditions or incidents to management.
8. Perform preventive maintenance and report equipment issues.
9. Create a welcoming environment for customers, assisting with questions and ensuring they feel valued.
10. Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and company guidelines.
11. Work cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
12. Manage conflicts professionally and with integrity.
13. Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues.
14. Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
