Position Responsibilities:

  • Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately at checkout.
  • Handle various tenders such as cash, checks, credit/debit cards, SNAP EBT, WIC, rain checks, loyalty offers, and coupons, adhering to company policies.
  • Understand and adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention guidelines.
  • Comply with restrictions on sale items like alcohol, tobacco, and DVDs.
  • Report pricing discrepancies and follow policies for stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
  • Stay informed about current and upcoming promotions and advertisements.
  • Follow all food safety and safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions or incidents.
  • Maintain equipment and notify management of repairs.
  • Create a welcoming environment for customers, assisting with product questions and store navigation.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and company policies.
  • Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment, managing conflicts professionally.
  • Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
  • Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues.
  • Support and assist customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
  • Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
