Job summary

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is looking for friendly Cashiers to join our team in Lexington, SC. You will greet guests, take orders accurately, operate the POS, handle payments, and maintain a clean, welcoming dining area.

As a Cashier, you’ll work across front counter, drive-thru, and dining room roles as assigned, delivering fast, friendly service while upholding Freddy’s hospitality and food-safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Take guest orders accurately and efficiently
• Operate the point-of-sale system and process payments
• Provide accurate change and follow cash-handling procedures

• Verify orders for accuracy before serving
• Work front counter, drive-thru, dining room, and other guest-service positions as assigned
• Communicate with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely orders
• Prepare and serve beverages and menu items as assigned
• Follow Freddy’s standards for guest service and cleanliness
• Restock supplies and keep areas clean

What You'll Do

As a Cashier, you'll play an important role in creating an exceptional experience for every guest. You will:

• Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude
• Take guest orders accurately and efficiently
• Operate the point-of-sale system and process cash, credit card, and other approved payments
• Provide accurate change and follow proper cash-handling procedures
• Answer guest questions about menu items and assist with order selections
• Accurately enter special requests and modifications
• Verify orders for accuracy before they are provided to guests
• Work front counter, drive-thru, dining room, and other guest-service positions as assigned
• Communicate clearly with kitchen and service team members to ensure accurate and timely orders
• Prepare and serve beverages, frozen custard, and other menu items as assigned
• Follow Freddy’s standards for guest service, hospitality, and product presentation
• Maintain a clean and organized front counter, dining room, beverage, and service areas
• Clean tables, counters, equipment, floors, and other restaurant areas as assigned
• Restock cups, lids, condiments, napkins, and other supplies throughout the shift
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, handwashing, and personal hygiene procedures
• Immediately communicate food safety, equipment, guest, or operational concerns to restaurant leadership
• Handle guest concerns professionally and involve restaurant leadership when appropriate
• Follow opening, closing, and shift-change proce
