Job summary

Meijer is seeking a friendly Cashier to deliver efficient checkout service, creating a positive and lasting impression for customers in our stores.

You’ll use technology to complete transactions, handle money accurately, keep eye contact with customers, and respond to questions confidently. You’ll strive to create ‘WOW’ moments, build trustful relationships that encourage return visits, and welcome opportunities for growth through our development programs and scheduling flexibility.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service is beneficial but not required.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to operate a cashier register system and handle money accurately.
