Job summary

Parkhurst Dining, part of Eat’n Park Hospitality Group, is hiring a cashier to join our team. You’ll greet guests, learn menu items, manage daily cash transactions, and help keep the checkout area clean and organized.

Responsibilities include handling all POS transactions, cash handling with accuracy, restocking areas, and coordinating with management on daily specials. We offer health benefits, growth opportunities, and a 20% discount across our brands.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and warmly on arrival.

• Bus tables and keep checkout areas clean and stocked.
• Handle all POS transactions and process payments according to policy, including Cater Trax orders.
• Accurately make change, balance cash drawer, and reconcile cash after meals.

• Acknowledge the presence of our guests immediately, with a friendly greeting.
• Utilize the tools provided to stay organized. Learn menu and daily specials, keeping in close communication with management.
• Bus tables and help maintain cleanliness. Restock/organize areas surrounding the checkout counters.
• Handle all POS transactions ethically and according to company policies, including all cash, meal plan or swipe, and Cater Trax orders.
• Accurately make change for all cash‑paying guests, maintain proper counts of all transactions, maintain accurate balance in cash drawer at all times, and reconcile cash drawer after every meal.
