Job summary

Just Salad is seeking Cashiers to join our team. Under the general direction of the Restaurant Team Leader, Cashiers will focus on guest interactions and ringing up guest orders on the Point of Sales in the front of house of our operations.

In line with Just Salads mission to make everyday health and sustainability possible, you will also support initiatives to reduce Just Salads environmental footprint. Cashier duties include providing excellent service, accurately counting tills, processing

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and thank guests.
• Count till at start of shift and maintain accuracy.
• Ring up orders as marked on order tickets and process payments.
• Prepare smoothies and restock smoothie station as needed.
• Bag items and assist with bagging as requested.
• Restock beverage station and chips and chips display.
• Wipe down tables and keep front of house clean.
• Follow cash handling procedures and POS protocols.
• Restock customer bagging area and prep restocks as requested.

Just Salad is seeking Cashiers that will join our team. Under the general direction of the Restaurant Team Leader (Just Salad's General Managers), Cashiers will focus on guest interactions and ringing up guest orders on the Point of Sales in the front of house of our operations. In line with Just Salad’s mission to make everyday health and sustainability possible, you will also support initiatives to reduce Just Salad’s environmental footprint.

Cashiers Report to:

Store’s Restaurant Team Leader

We are looking for people who:

• Make focusing on the guest a top priority

• Open availability preferred

Cashier’s Daily Responsibilities:

• Provides excellent customer service and thanks all guests
• Correctly and accurately counts the till at the beginning of the shift
• Rings up all orders as marked on their order ticket (we call it a dupe!) and any additional items
• Correctly processes cash/credit cards/JS App
• Makes smoothies and restocks smoothie station as needed
• Bags customer's purchases upon request
• Restocks chips and fronts beverage station
• Occasionally wipes down tables
• Follows all Just Salad Cash Handling Procedures
• Restocks customer bagging area
• Prepares restock items for smoothies station as requested by manager

Job Requirements

• Able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
• Remains stationary or moving continuously throughout a shift
• Climb stairs
• Maintain a high degree of pace and intensity throughout shift
• Accurately read, write and clearly mark a JS order ticket
• General knowledge in math
• Read, comprehend and follow JS menu and instructions
• Clearly and professionally communicate with customers, other team members and management
• Follow all Just Salad and Health Department Policies, Procedures and Standards
