Job summary

Meijer is seeking a friendly Cashier in Findlay, Ohio to deliver fast, accurate checkout experiences and greet customers with a smile. You’ll learn Meijer programs, assist customers, process transactions, and support store operations in a dynamic environment.

Ideal candidates are 18+, enjoy helping people, comfortable with technology, able to stand for long periods, and reliable. Prior retail experience helps but not required; training is provided.

What You'll Do

As a Cashier, you are the last touchpoint a customer has before leaving our store.

• Become knowledgeable on Meijer programs and promotions to best assist customers
• Create welcoming, memorable checkout experiences that leave a lasting impression
• Use Meijer systems to complete transactions efficiently and accurately
• Handle cash and payments responsibly, with attention to detail
• Communicate clearly and confidently, using friendly eye contact and positive body language
• Answer customer questions and help resolve concerns with care

• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly

What You Bring

• You're 18 years of age or older
• You enjoy working with people and providing great service
• You're comfortable learning and using technology

• Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required
• You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods
