Wunder Glow in Dade City, FL is seeking a Seasonal Cashier for our holiday season. You will greet guests and process sales at the POS, handling cash and card payments with care while providing receipts. Upsell upgrades like VIP Pass and parking to enhance guest visits.

With more than a mile of magical holiday light scenes, festive music, and interactive experiences set among 50 acres of Florida's majestic oaks, Wunder Glow is where families come to make holiday memories. This is a great opportunity to work outdoors in a festive setting, build valuable point-of-sale skills, and be the friendly face that welcomes and thanks our guests. Whether you're working at the parking booth, box office, food and drink stands, or gift shop, you'll play a vital role in creating a memorable night for every visitor.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet every guest warmly upon arrival and thank them sincerely when they leave
• Process sales accurately using the POS system, handling cash and card payments with care
• Provide correct change and receipts promptly
• Recommend upgrades and add-ons, such as the VIP Pass and preferred parking, to enhance guests' visits
• Count your cash drawer at the start and end of each shift and report any discrepancies
• Answer guest questions and report concerns or safety issues to a supervisor immediately
• Restock gift shop merchandise and supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized workstation

Work Areas You May Be Assigned To

• Parking Booth: Sell standard and preferred parking and keep the line of cars moving
• Box Office: Sell General Admission and VIP Pass tickets and help guests choose an available entry time
• Food and Beverage: Take orders and payments at the food trucks and drink stands in Christmas Village, Wishing Point, and Hot Cocoa Hollow
• Gift Shop: Sell holiday merchandise and gift cards

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Accurate money handling skills
• Friendly and clear communication, even during busy times
• Reliable with punctuality and following instructions
• Available for evening shifts, including late nights, weekends, and holidays, during the season
• Able to stand for up to 8 hours, lift up to 20 lbs, and work outdoors at night in various weather conditions

Helpful but Not Required

• Experience with cash registers or POS systems (training provided)
• Customer service, food service, or retail experience
