Job Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the check lane.
• Understand and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling various tenders, coupons, and loyalty offers according to company policy.
• Adhere to company policies on cash handling, restricted sale items, and pricing discrepancies.
• Follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons, and stay current with promotions and ads.
• Comply with food safety regulations and safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Maintain equipment and create a welcoming environment for customers by assisting with product questions.
• Follow all applicable laws and company guidelines.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment, managing conflicts professionally and acting with honesty and integrity.
• Support and assist customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
