Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Cashier to deliver friendly, efficient service at the checkout. You will learn Meijer programs and promotions to assist customers, create welcoming checkout experiences, and handle transactions accurately.

You will communicate clearly, maintain attention to detail, and support store operations as needed in a fast-paced environment. Prior retail experience is helpful but not required, and growth opportunities exist within our team.

What You'll Do:

As a Cashier, you are the last touchpoint a customer has before leaving our store.

You'll:

What You Bring:

• You're 18 years of age or older
• You enjoy working with people and providing great service
• You're comfortable learning and using technology
• You listen well, communicate clearly, and stay organized
• You're dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to help
• Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required
• You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods

We are committed to offering competitive pay that reflects market standards and ensures consistency within our organization.

This job has a step pay plan that generally starts between the rates below with raises occurring after predetermined hours worked. The actual rate offered will meet or surpass the legal wage requirement for the job's location.

$15.25 - $16.98
