Parkland Corporation seeks a Sales Associate for the morning shift (5:30 am – 1:30 pm) at 101 Santa Fe Ave, Bismarck, ND. The role centers on delivering excellent customer service, processing sales accurately, and keeping the store well stocked and clean.

The Opportunity:

The Sales Associate serves as the primary point of contact for customers, delivering excellent service and accurately processing fuel and merchandise sales. This role ensures shelves are stocked, products are available, and store operations run efficiently while supporting overall profitability.

Location: 101 Santa Fe Ave, Bismarck, ND

This position is for morning shift, 5:30 am - 1:30 pm. Shifts may change based on store needs. Flexibility is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure top-notch customer experiences on every interaction
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked store
• Prepare food and beverages in accordance with health standards
• Handle cash, funds, and merchandise responsibly
• Complete shift reports, including closing and balancing the cash register
• Verify customer identification for restricted purchases and follow regulations
• Assist with daily tasks to keep store operations running smoothly
• Handle customer interactions and apply sales strategies to support profitability

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a convenience store, restaurant, or retail environment
• Basic knowledge of food safety standards
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, days, weekends, and holidays
• Strong customer service skills and a customer-focused mindset
• Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
