Meijer Inc. is looking for a friendly Cashier to deliver fast, efficient customer service at the checkout. You’ll create positive experiences, promote Meijer programs, and ensure accurate transactions in a fast-paced retail environment.

Ideal candidates are 18+, enjoy helping people, and are comfortable using technology. Prior retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required; physical tasks may be involved, including standing for extended periods.

Responsabilités

• Be the last touchpoint a customer has before leaving the store.
• Create welcoming, memorable checkout experiences and process transactions accurately.
• Know Meijer programs and promotions to assist customers.
• Use Meijer systems to complete transactions and handling cash with care.
• Communicate confidently with customers and maintain eye contact and positive body language.
• Answer questions, resolve concerns with care, and build trust to encourage return visits.
• Support other tasks to keep store operations running smoothly.
