Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a detail-oriented Cash Vault Processor for our operations team. This is a production-based, non-customer-facing role handling cash deposits for commercial and internal accounts in a secure environment.

You will count, sort, and balance large volumes of currency, ensure procedures and compliance, and resolve discrepancies while maintaining security. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 10:30am–7pm, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow within the bank.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to repeatedly move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Basic math and problem-solving abilities.
• Previous experience in cash handling, banking operations, or processing roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process and verify cash deposits for commercial and internal accounts.
• Count, sort, and balance large volumes of currency in a high-volume production environment.
• Ensure all transactions are completed in accordance with established procedures and compliance standards.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain strict adherence to security protocols and internal controls.
• Meet daily production and accuracy goals.
