Job summary

Nabis is seeking a Cash Operations Associate to join our finance team in a fast-paced environment. You will review daily payments, process cash receipts, and ensure strict adherence to internal procedures and policies.

This role directly supports accounts receivable and cash operations in a growing cannabis tech company.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous cash processing, cashier, banker teller or accounting experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management abilities.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver as needed.
• Must be over the age of 21.

Responsibilities

• Inbound all cash receipts and reconcile currency transactions.
• Process, verify, and reconcile inbound/outbound currency.
• Enter data for currency transactions accurately.
• Prepare outbound currency orders and replenishments.
• Count and report currency inventory daily.
• Maintain cash machinery and perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned and ensure SLA compliance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and state/federal laws.

About the Role

The Cash Operations Associate is an essential team member supporting the Cash Operations and Accounts Receivable teams by reviewing daily payments and ensuring adherence to internal procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Inbound all cash receipts
• Process, verify, and reconcile inbound and outbound currency transactions
• Complete data entry for all currency transactions
• Prepare outbound currency orders and replenishments
• Count, verify, and report currency inventory daily
• Perform routine preventative maintenance of cash machinery
• All other essential and assigned job functions
• Adhere to SLA performance and contract requirements
• Ensure activities are performed in compliance with company policies and procedures as well as state and federal laws and regulations

Qualifications

• Customer Service experience
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
• Previous cash processing, cashier, banker teller or professional accounting experience
• Exceptional communication and customer relation skills
• Outstanding problem-solving and time management skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., bend, stretch, and twist
• Must be over the age of 21
• 1+ year of customer service, sales, or account management experience is strongly preferred
