Position Summary:
The Cash Management Specialist coordinates and participates in the sales, development, facilitation, implementation and servicing of Cash Management services including but not limited to: Business Digital Banking, ACH and Wire Origination, Remote Deposit, Lockbox Positive Pay and Account Analysis. The Cash Management Specialist is expected to work independently and be a strong liaison between the customer and the bank in regards to problem solving. The Cash Management Specialist will work with Digital Banking, Deposit Operations, Information Technology and system vendors to resolve technical and system issues that directly impact Cash Management products and services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service, troubleshoot issues and help internal and external customers in support of our cash management services. This may include conducting research as needed regarding bill payments, Intuit/Quickbooks, and security tokens.
- Serve as subject matter expert and liaison for Dime Bank’s Cash Management products and services by managing and supporting the timely set up, implementation and initial training of new cash management customers.
- Maintains strong consultative relationship with cash management customer base.
- Provide support for the Cash Management Relationship Manager with onboarding new cash management customers on the various systems. Review of executed signed agreements, credit underwriting standards and credit file limits, analysis/fee set up.
- Provide support for the cash management customers regarding ACH origination files, transaction exceptions or transmission errors, change of electronic services, account analysis charges, Remote Deposit Capture, Lockbox, Sweeps, Wires, Intrafi, Positive Pay and system functionality.
- Review daily exception items including Lockbox, Positive Pay, ACH Origination. Also provide customer communication regarding decisioned items.
- Prepare Annual Review documentation for the banks Cash Management customers to ensure customer’s volume levels are commensurate with risk approved authorized limits.
- Conduct a daily review of the RDC Deposits
- Analyze cash management product and service sales and service performance levels.
- Support for establishing new/updated services for existing business cash management customers.
- Assist with the onboard training of new cash management customers.
- Provide support to the Cash Management Relationship Manager, Retail Banking Managers and Commercial Loan Officers.
- Assist in testing and implementing new products and services, updates, and releases for existing products.
- Assists Deposit Operations/Digital Banking in support of cash management customers with their normal deposit banking activity.
- Review cash managementprocedures and forms on an annual basis and provide management with updates for changes.
- Back up for process daily ACH transaction errors and exceptions including ACH returns of customer’s unauthorized transactions in accordance with regulatory guidelines and NACHA operating rules.
- Maintain current knowledge of all federal and state laws and regulations, along with the Bank's policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations impacting Cash Management services and performance of duties.

Knowledge, Skills, Requirements:
- Familiarity with cash management and electronic banking products and services including deposit regulations
- 5-7 years banking experience in retail, business banking or operations system support
- Must have the ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment & meet deadlines
- Must have excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Must be a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a team player
- Practical experience with Microsoft Office/Network environment, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, internet cookies and a strong knowledge and experience with Excel spreadsheets required
- Ability to interact positively and tactfully with customers, to inspire confidence and trust
- Detailed oriented and well organized

- Knowledge of ACH rules and regulations recommended
- Proficiency in written and verbal communications
